The saying “Everything tastes better with bacon” was put to the test as Hammerheads Restaurant was ultimately crowned the “Bacon King” for the second consecutive year. The 2012 Bacon Ball hosted by the Louisville Visual Art Association promised a “mixed media culinary delight night of booty shakin’, art making Bacon Ball extravaganza” and they certainly spent the evening gettin' piggy with it.
Think of it as an Easter Egg hunt for adults, but with ham and bloody marys instead of candy.

The guys are also welcome to this event that will give guests a taste of Maker's Mark, chocolate and appetizers from Proof on Main Chef Michael Paley.
When you need a break from your neighborhood bar-and-grill, put on your little black dress (or its male equivalent) and head to the bar at Proof on Main.
You have to hand it to a chef who can make roasted octopus a must-try menu item. I would venture to say that octopus is a tough sell anywhere outside southern Italy, or Greece, or Japan, but chef Michael Paley put it on the Proof on Main opening menu in 2006 and hasn’t been able to take it off since.
