A feast for eyes as well as taste buds!
I went to Ghyslain on Market on a cool Saturday morning right before attending the Flea on Market. Ghyslain, tucked right off Market Street in a renovated carriage house, is the very picture of refinement, an elegant French bistro that manages to stay relaxed while delivering top notch food.

These two wonderful companies have paired to produce one of my favorite new food items of the year - their Bourbon Sorghum Vinaigrette.
Most people who know me know that I adore my bourbon. This is in conjunction with a huge love of food and an attempt at a somewhat healthy lifestyle. When I found this new product on a recent visit to the gorgeous Woodford Reserve distillery, I had to pick it up and give it a try.

On more occasions in the past year than I care to ponder, a server has described a restaurant's house potato salad as "not your grandmother's potato salad." I've even seen the phrase printed on menus, and not just in this town.
