Girls on the Run Louisville seeks to promote this, as well as self-esteem and character building, among its participants. Its program culminates with a 5K Fun-Run, being held on May 12, and any and all community members are encouraged to volunteer their time and energy to this event.

‘Irish for Kids’ golf scramble this Friday at Seneca Golf Course
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is six months off, but the Ancient Order of Hibernians isn’t sitting idle this month. This coming Friday, September 10, the Irish heritage group will host the “Irish for Kids” golf scramble to benefit the Home of the Innocents.
