Exactly how weird is it to hit the mall this Friday? [Opinion: The Arena]

Occupy Louisville, LIBA and Mighty Kindness are all singing the praises of shopping local. Maybe this city can even fight corporate greed in the process of keeping Louisville weird.

Louisville is a city which prides itself on break dancing to its own beat down a path no one has ever imagined. This city loves to tout how weird it is! Isn’t it weird that we have lots of local shops that we love to buy stuff from?

Getting Dad something he'll actually like for Father's Day can be a seriously difficult task. However, a stroll down Frankfort Avenue might just be the solution to the problem!

Although I'm a fashion contributor to Louisville.com, I consider my shopping expertise a valuable asset to the site's dear readers. Are you freaking out about what to get that that's interesting or at least different from last year's gift?

I was too - so I headed down to Frankfort Avenue to see what kinds of gift ideas I could scrounge up for Sunday's daddy celebration.
