It's been hanging around for a few years, adding this, adding that, adding other things. In 2009 the Peak Summit Music Festival sprawls over 15 venues to try and bring Louisville together under a very large musical umbrella.
Peak Summit Groove and Dance Festival sports a new theme for '09-  "get on the bus!" A celebration of Louisville's Music, Art, and Business, the festival features over 25 acts in fifteen venues, and emcompasses comedy, art, film, fashion, and...um....billiards.

Eating local is a big theme around here, and that's not limited to dining out. There are several famer's markets throughout the city, and one of the most popular reopens for business on May 16.
The popular St. Matthews Farmers’ Market, located in the heart of St Matthews at Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Road, will begin its third season on Saturday, May 16th from 8 am until 12 noon. The weekly market takes place each Saturday through September 26th.
