Friday, June 21, 2013 is the first day of summer, the longest day of the year, and is the summer solstice.
According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac website, www.almanac.com, the summer solstice began today, Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:04 a.m.

Take one part strawberry love, mix with one part beer love, add a love of summer, and you have my beer review.
Late last night I found myself thinking about something my buddy Chas Kuhn, from Louisville.com, had tweeted out earlier in the day; it was the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, the pure epitome of what summer is: warm days, green trees, singing birds, and to me -- strawberries!!
