Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band triumph at Nashville's Sommet Center in what might have been one of their final shows

Playing of entire 'Born to Run' album highlight of closest show to Louisville on Working on a Dream tour
It's not clear how many audience members realized that Wednesday night at Nashville's Sommet Center probably was their last Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert. After almost two straight years of touring, Springsteen and E Street are going on hiatus after tonight's show in Buffalo. With most of the band members in their 60s, saxophonist Clarence "Big Man" Clemons's health issues and recent remarks from band members, the odds are good that Nashville saw one of rock's greatest live acts' third-to-last show.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band play Nashville's Sommet Center Wednesday

Tickets still available for Working on a Dream tour's closest stop to Louisville
In July 1999 I drove 627 miles from my home in Charlotte, N.C. to New Jersey to see my first Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert. Five days later I did it again. Since then I've seen Springsteen with his "heart-stopping, pants-dropping, hard-rocking, booty-shaking, Earth-quaking, nerve-breaking, Viagra-taking, history-making, legendary E Street Band" 25 times. I've also caught another 15 Springsteen shows where he's played solo or fronted other musicians.
