Christmas Classic: Actor, William McNulty, delivers a special Holiday reading for Filson members [Books]

Members of The Filson Historical Society, rejoice! Actors Theatre performer, William McNulty, will participate in a free reception and special reading of Truman Capote’s "A Christmas Memory" starting tonight at 5pm.

Even the stodgiest of historians love Christmas!  All jibes aside, now is the time of year when most amongst us don those festive frocks and flock together in merry bands of food, drink and tradition.  All types of social and biological families unite for the glittering joys of the season and host fetes for their favorites.  The Filson Historical Society will spread its own brand of Holiday cheer to its members tonight!  As part of a Holiday “Thank you!” to the members who make the Filson’s mission possible, the historical society is hosting a free part

Whodunnit seeks help from Sherlock Holmes in the murder mystery Sherlock Holmes and Twas the Murder Before Christmas.

A murder is to take place on Christmas Eve, and only the audience and a famous sleuth can stop it.  Whodunnit Murder Mystery Theatre will present Sherlock Holmes and Twas the Murder Before Christmas beginning on Saturday.

Submissions for an undead festival now taking place at Alley Theater.

Get your ghoul on!  Alley Theater is accepting submissions for the inaugural run of Inhuman: A Festival of New American Undead Theater.  

Alley Theater will premiere its new festival Inhuman: A Festival of New American Undead Theater in March 2012. Before this can take place, though, Alley Theater is needing submissions from area playwrights.
