Having grown up in Jeffersontown (J-Town), I always look forward to going to the Gaslight Festival. This festival, which started in 1969, has grown over the years and an estimated 200,000 people attend.
This year's Gaslight festival is September 11-18 and offers events for every interest:

There will be a weekend of fun at Louisville Slugger Field. Fritos, fireworks, autographs and happy hour. Sounds like a blast to me! Check out the promotions for this homestand.

After taking two of the first three games from the division-leading Columbus Clippers, the Louisville Bats look serious about making a run for 1st place in the season's second half.
After an impressive Independence Day duel with the Clippers that ended in a walk-off 13th inning victory for the Bats and a dominating performance Tuesday night, the Bats will try and sweep the 1st place Clippers tonight at Slugger Field.
