Friday night marked the first "First Friday"  by Smerlin Entertainment at the Magic Theater and Whisky Row Lofts, showing that the collaboration of businesses near the arena is really helping to revitalize downtown.

The monthly Clifton-area festivity takes a turn for the seasonal with "Halloween Hop" this weekend.

As if the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop isn’t usually enough fun on its own, this month the normal outing gets a seasonal treatment with the “Halloween Hop.”

Friday (October 29th) from 6-10:30pm, business participants along Frankfort Avenue will decorate and hand out candy for the kiddos, along with offering specials and sales just for the evening. And here is a hint: dress up yourself and you are much more likely to cash in on some deals.

During the year's first F.A.T. Friday trolley hop tonight, the restaurant It's All Greek to Me is offering bellydancing lessons (sexy), Kaviar Forge and Gallery is conducting forge tours (toasty) and the Wine Rack has vino to pair with chili (tasty). 

F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop closes out Derby month on the 29th

Don't let post-Derby let down get the best of you. You should be rested up enough by now to enjoy a night out at the HOP.
Historic Frankfort Avenue will host a F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop on Friday, May 29th from 6:00pm to 10:30pm. The F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop, on the final Friday of each month, provides FREE parking and transportation to participating shops, restaurants and galleries along the Frankfort, Mellwood and Story Avenue corridor. Transportation is provided by TARC.
