Bag It, the premiere film of the Westport Village Environmental Film Series, will screen September 9th at 8:30pm at Amazing Green Planet, Westport Village Shopping Center, 1301 Herr Lane Louisville, KY 40222. The film is free to view thanks to event sponsors including Heine Brothers Coffee, kyGREEN.tv, and Amazing Green Planet.
August 4, 2011, Les Filles Boutique is sponsoring a “Back to School in the Village” benefit for Blessings in a Backpack. The event will take place on “Main Street” in Westport Village in front of Les Filles Boutique, Amazing Green Planet and The Comfy Cow. Event starts at 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Les Filles Boutique is a locally owned and operated boutique that provides Louisville shoppers with local and national artist’s items which are not available in mass production. Customers truly purchase “one of a kind item’s” co-owner Melissa Murphy explained. Les Filles opened its doors in November 2009 with a beautiful location in Louisville’s Westport Village Shopping Complex by co-owners Cathy Akright and Melissa Murphy. “Les Filles” means “The Girls” in French which is representation of the owners.

You can catch her around town at various charity events or at the University of Louisville, where she is studying Chemical Engineering.
