The yellow brick road will only go so much further. This weekend will be the last chance to catch The Wizard of Oz at Centerstage.

The Louisville Orchestra-presented Bartok Concerto for Orchestra is set to take place at Kentucky Center on Thursday and Friday.
Both performances will take place in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville. The first performance on Thursday, March 25, at 10:30 a.m., will happen as the Treyton Oak Towers Coffee Concert Bartok Concerto for Orchestra. The second performance, on Friday, March 26, at 8 p.m. will be the Hilliard Lyons Classic Bartok Concerto for Orchestra.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical, Oklahoma, will be presented by Mummers and Minstrels starting tonight.

Cars on adjacent US Highway 150 are usually the loudest noises heard around Mount Saint Francis, home of the Conventual Franciscan province of Our Lady of Consolation. On Saturday, many of those cars will be turning into the drive and parking in the fields, as the friars of "The Mount" host their annual picnic.

Sometimes the only place to go for answers is the State Fair. There have been times when I've wrestled with, what felt like, the questons of the world. What I loved about this exhibit is the simplicity of the question posed. Really, who hasn't ever thought about what one can do with a llama (ahem..Michael Jackson)?
