    The Center for Interfaith Relations is proud to present its 13th Annual Festival of Faiths November 9–15. The Festival theme this year is Coming of Age through the Eyes of Faith and features the following reknowned speakers: •Winona LaDuke (author, Ojibwe community organizer and former Green Party vice-presidential candidate) •Stephen Prothero (Boston University professor and author of Religious Literacy: What Every American Needs to Know--And Doesn’t) •Brian Swimme (author of The Hidden Heart of the Cosmos and founder of the Center for the Story of the Universe) •Malidoma Somè (teacher, author of The Healing Wisdom of Africa and Dagara medicine man) •Mary Evelyn Tucker (author, teacher and co-director of Yale University’s Forum on Religion and Ecology) This year’s theme, "Coming of Age through the Eyes of Faith", will be explored in an exciting array of ways including: Coming of Age religious rituals and rites, peacemaking as an indication of Coming of Age, the Coming of Age of agriculture, politics, and education, as well as what it might mean to Come of Age as a species. Programs include: lectures and workshops with our featured guests, events for middle and high school students, lunchtime discussions hosted throughout the city, a day of reflection hosted at area labyrinths, film screenings, and the return of such annual events as the Presbyterian Seminary Luncheon, the Children of Abraham Dinner and the Interfaith Breakfast. The Festival involves over 40 community partners and more than 25 different locations including the Kentucky International Convention Center.
