Live Nation’s House of Blues entertainment sector has equipped the Mercury Ballroom with an experienced crew who know how to entertain a city. Open for less than a week, the new venue on 4th street in downtown Louisville has attracted thousands of music goers already. Booking shows with national and internationally known artists, the Mercury Ballroom will stand nothing short of a remarkable addition to the city.
On Wednesday April 16th, the house of Blues venue hosts America’s number one DJ, Markus Schulz. Originally from Germany - now living in Miami, Florida- Markus Schulz has been touring all over the world. Performing in places such as: Ibiza, London, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Sydney, Mexico City, and the list goes on.
Recently combining forces with Ferry Corsten, the two have taken the electric music wave by storm. Brainstorming on a plane en route to their show, the two decided to change up the evening by switching on and off the turntables throughout the night. Social media exploded.
Before they knew it, clubs from all over the world wanted to book them together. Could Ferry Corsten make an appearance? You’ll just have to come and find out.
Markus is really looking forward to performing in Louisville. You may be able to spot him riding his bicycle with a few crew members, cruising the city, and trying out all of our delicious food joints.
After Markus Schulz visits the Mercury Ballroom, many more known artists are in the lineup:
Three Days Grace
The Devil Makes Three
Tegan & Sara
