Local musicians Garion Birchell, Daniel Holthaus, Luke Hasler, Andrew Hurt, and Evan Hammons have joined together to make their mark on the local music scene with a phenomenal debut of their new project's first single.

Artica is a five-piece Rock band from Lexington. Anyone who has heard their new single “Solace to Survive” from their upcoming EP “In Honesty” will gladly support the notion that these young men are on their way to doing amazing things for the musical industry. It took a mere seven days for their single to reach over one thousand views on Artica’s Youtube channel, which comes as no surprise to their ever-expanding fanbase.

“Solace to Survive” is reminiscent of some of the great artistic talents within the rock community, yet stands entirely on its own with an unfathomable energy and raw message, and lucky for us, it's free! Showcasing the band's vocal, technical, emotional, and instrumental prowess, this song has more than one thousand musical enthusiasts excitedly waiting for the release of their EP “In Honesty” which will be available on October 9th of this year.

    About Gage Troutman

I am a lover of writing and all things literature as I have been since a very young age. My works range from novels to poetry and everything beyond or between, though there are pieces I am not the proudest of. I have a lovely partner, amazing family, and eight erratic, excitable dogs that couldn't be more like children if they were completely hairless and stood on two legs. Do not let me fool you though, I am basically your average person who is a bit obsessive over video games and anything with a good story. If you like the articles go ahead and check out my other works on http://wretchedcapacity.wordpress.com and go ahead and add me on Facebook if you'd like!
