Howell Dawdy is back at it again. Louisville’s most interesting synth-rapper/creative guru released another video this week, episode 2 of Dawdy Talk.

This episode was filmed in Dawdy’s car and follows Dawdy and his passenger, Will Roberts of The Pass, going to a few local restaurants and bars while listening to The Pass’s new EP in the stereo. The EP The High Road comes out December 9.

Dawdy is an amazing character and Roberts has to bite his lip multiples in the video to prevent laughing because of statements like this from Dawdy: “Right now we’re in a part of Louisville called downtown. Downtown Louisville boasts miles and miles of above ground traffic that offers shade to, uh, those citizens walking on the street.”

We learn Roberts likes to go to Please & Thank You (to which Dawdy replies, “Actually do they have a drive-thru?”) and Jack Fry’s. They also went to Chicken King and Freddie’s Bar & Lounge because that was simply the road they were driving on.

At the end of the video, Dawdy says he is out of gas but has no funds so Roberts begrudgingly helps him out.

Jerry Seinfeld has Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee. Howell Dawdy his own twist. Musicians In Cars Getting Food & Drink? Here’s to more episodes of Dawdy Talk.
