Yesterday, I began looking at the sports calendar for the month of November, today, I pick that calendar back up and begin looking at the events from the 10th to the end of the month.

11/10- Louisville vs. SMU- Cardinal Volleyball- KFC Yum! Center

The Cards’ volleyball team squares off with their continued home stand against SMU on the 10th.

11/12- Louisville vs. Hofstra- Cardinal Men’s Basketball- KFC Yum! Center

Louisville meets up with Hofstra for another scrimmage, as Pitino continues to try to get his defending championship team ready for the regular season.

11/15- Louisville vs. Cornell- Cardinal Men’s Basketball- KFC Yum! Center

In one of the Cards’ later pre-season games they’ll square off with the Ivy League school.

11/16- Louisville vs. Houston: Cardinal Football- Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium

Louisville hosts another top dog of the AAC, Houston in this return rivalry. These two haven’t seen each other to much since Louisville departed Conference USA for the Big East, however fate has seemed to intervene with the teams, as they both have landed in this new upstart conference, even if only for this season, where the Cards take on the Texas team, for the top spot in conference.

11/23- Louisville vs. Memphis: Cardinal Football- Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium

In another old time rivalry game for Louisville, the Cards meet the Tigers in their final home game of the regular season. Of course, Louisville and Memphis were at one time, major foes in the Metro Athletic Conference prior to continuing their feud in Conference USA. Their next chapter should be interesting going into the 23rd.

    About Dave Rose

Recently, I completed a Masters degree in Education and have been writing for for over a year now, prior to that I published a humor book for young adults titled Wearing Socks with Sandals, a book about getting through high school, college, and all of the requisite problems that present themselves during that time. Currently, I spend much of my time in classroom settings as well as writing in various areas. Of course, I’m a big sports fan and love music and film, and love finding new stuff around Louisville.
