    Eve Theatre PresentsThe Oldest Profession
    Print this page

The women of Eve Theatre Company are back, and they continue to shine a spotlight on events that women, especially, can relate to.

In the inaugural season, there was an endearing look at the meaningful connection women make with clothes in Love, Loss and What I Wore.

Last year, they reminded us of the strength of our female friendships in Always a Bridesmaid.

And this year, they’re bringing us prostitutes.

Eve opens their third season this week with the Louisville premiere of Paula Vogel’s The Oldest Profession, which takes a hilarious look at the sisterhood of the “ladies of the night” by documenting the women who have used the street corners as their offices for decades, are now past their prime, and are still trying to make it.

Billed as “Sex in the City in Spanx," The Oldest Profession is sure to be a treat.

The Oldest Profession opens Thursday, October 30 at 7:30 at the Henry Clay Theatre and continues through November 8. Tickets are $19/$22 and are available at the door, online or by calling 502.759.1912.

The Henry Clay Theatre is located at 604 S. 3rd Street.
