The Flyover Film Festival is only 2 days away. If you're not familiar with it, it's a three day festival showcasing many different genres of film ranging from shorts, to comedy, to sci-fi. Many of these films you'll not get a chance to see anywhere else!

Sunday night welcomes the end of the festival with a night under the stars at the Louisville Visual Arts Association's Water Tower lawn.

    From Louisville Visual Arts:

"Flyover Film Festival will land at LVAA's historic Water Tower lawn on Sunday, June 12th and close with a double-feature that showcases our locally grown talent. We'll gather under the stars on the banks of the Ohio for a 'drive-in' screening of short films plus a feature length comedy.

The shorts include David Lowery's epic Pioneer which stars Will Oldham and Miles Brook; Zachary Trietz will be on hand with David Maloney to present We're Leaving, their Sundance selected story of the Kentucky alligator Chopper and his pal Rusty.  We'll see new work from Christopher Radcliff, Lauren Wolkstein and Saba Riazi.  We'll end the evening with the hilarious adventures of Father Billy in The Catechism Cataclysm, this feature presentation stars Eastbound and Down's Steve Little and Pineapple Express's Rob Longstreet.

BYOB - a blanket that is - BBC will be supplying the beer! (though we wouldn't stop you from bringing a comfy chair either - cash bar only).   Come secure your spot at 8 PM, films begin at 9 PM."

If you've not gotten your passes yet for the festival, then head over to and grab them now!
