Chronic stupidity really is a curse in Neil Simon's Fools, which will open at Floyd Central High School this weekend.

Fools will be performed on Oct. 20, 21, 22, and 23 at 7 p.m. each night.  Matinee shows, meanwhile, will occur on Oct.22 and 23 at 2 p.m. each day.  All performances will happen at Floyd Central High School, located at 6575 Old Vincennes Road in Floyds Knobs, IN.

Tickets for each show are $10 for adults and $6 for students.  Due to limited space, reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling 812-542-2284.  More information can be found at the Floyd Central theatre arts website.

In the comedy Fools, an entire Russian town has been cursed with stupidity for 200 years.  Only one man, a new town resident, can break the curse.  However, he has only 24 hours to do so or he, too, will become stupid.

Neil Simon created the play, which went to Broadway in 1981.  Fools is also part of Floyd Central's Studio One series.

Following Fools, Floyd Central High School will return to the mainstage with A Christmas Carol, the Musical.  The production will run in November.
