This weekend, March 8th and 9th, the Fourth Annual Louisville Kids Fair will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center.
Located in 10 in Exhibit Hall 2CD, the event will have over 50 vendors to browse, including local family fun venues, pediatricians, tutors, photographers and retailers. In addition, this year the Kent Family Magic Circus, will perform on Saturday at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Additionally, this year there will be life-sized robots, Safety City with the Kentucky State Police, and Tot Town for younger children.
There will be inflatables, a petting zoo, pony rides, miniature golf, and popular PBS characters Caillou, Curious George and Buddy from Dinosaur Train.
Let me repeat: life-sized robots.
Tickets are $10 for those 13 and up, $8 for children 2-12 and admission is free for children two and under. For $20, All-You-Can-Ride wristbands can be purchased online before the event for unlimited rides on the Merry Go Round, fun slide and select other carnival rides. Sunday, March 9, is Grandparents Day and one grandparent will be admitted for free with every purchased child’s ticket.
Event times are Saturday 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the WHAS Crusade for Children. Last year, More than $9,000 was raised.
