Friday night hoops: Bullitt Central and Southern clash, will try to gain ground
Print this page Game of the Night:

A pair of 19-6 squads duel tonight as Bullitt Central goes on the road to face Southern. Southern is clicking on all cylinders and riding a six game winning streak. Trojans head coach Todd Raque has instilled the importance of high energy defense and unselfishness with his squad and they are now completely shutting down opponents. On offense, Southern is one of the most unselfish teams in Louisville as they get a lot of assists, balanced scoring and easy buckets.

Bullitt Central is looking to bounce back and gain some confidence back after a devastating 35-85 loss at Moore Tuesday. It was by far the worst loss of the season for the Cougars but an outlier to their fantastic season. With few games left in the season, this game has serious 6th region standings implications. Southern presently sits in 4th place at 11-4 and Bullitt Central is 5th with a 7-4 record. Game time is 7:30pm.
