One of Christmas's most well-known novelty songs is "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)" performed by Hollywood's famous rodents: Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. Louisville indie rockers House Ghost have redone the classic and have done a great job at it.

Lucky for us, House Ghost is distributing the song as a FREE download. You can download it on their Bandcamp page.

It might be easy to make a Christmas song worse than its original. People find the originals as treasures and just don't see any merit in a rocker or pop star redoing it. House Ghost though did great work with this one. If The Chipmunks version was meant for kids, House Ghost manipulated it and made it great for adults to enjoy as well. Keith Miller's vocals are smooth and the music is tight and feels traditional while still being House Ghost.

It can fit right in on your modern Christmas playlist while you are baking cookies or sit by a fire. Download this free Christmas song from House Ghost today.
