Julius Caesar gets an update for modern times at Walden Theatre, beginning tomorrow.

Julius Caesar performances will take place on Jan. 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  Matinee shows are to happen on Jan. 21 and 28 at 2 p.m. each day.  All performances will go on at the Nancy Niles Sexton Stage inside Walden Theatre, located at 1123 Payne Street in the Highlands section of Louisville.

Tickets for each evening show are $15 for adults, $10 for students, and $10 for senior citizens.  Matinee show tickets prices are #10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $8 for students.  All tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 502-589-0084. More information on the show can also be found at the Walden Theatre website.

Julius Caesar is a modern-day update to the Shakespearean classic.  A group of former advisers, friends, and politicians have come to believe that Caesar has been corrupted by her own power.  Disorder and civil war are set to break out once these former Caesar supporters betray her.

Following Julius Caesar, Walden Theatre will present the Young Playwrights Festival 2012, which will run in February.
