Looking for Lilith turns Much Ado About Nothing into a post-World War I, all-female project starting this Thursday.

Mjuch Ado About Nothing will take place on Oct. 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, and 13 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  A matinee will go on Oct. 13 at 2 p.m.  All performances are to happen at the Alley Theater, located in The Pointe at 1205 East Washington Street in Butchertown.

Tickets for the show are $18 for adults, $15 for students, and $15 for senior citizens.  All tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Alley Theater website.

Much Ado About Nothing is a Shakespearean play about love and trickery, but don't expect the classic variety.  Instead, Looking fof Lilith brings the production into a post-World War I time.  An all-female cast will explore Beatrice and Bendick's back and forth banter and Hero and Claudio's relationship through that time period.

Much Ado About Nothing includes the cast of Shannon Woolley Allison, Dawn Schulz, Karole Spangler, Laura Ellis, Stephanie Adams, Lauren Argo, Natalie Fields, Kate Holland, Janelle Hunnicutt, Paula McGuffey, and Jenna Purdy.  Kathi E.B. Ellis directed the production.

More information on the show can be found at The Alley Theater website.
