    Louisville Equestrian Center to host Holiday and New Years horse camps

    Not sure what to do with the kiddos over their holiday break? The Louisville Equestrian Center (LEC) may have just the thing.

    On December 26 - 27 and January 2, 3, 4 LEC will be having their Holiday Camp. This would also make a great Christmas gift for a little horse lover in your life.

    Join them for some horsey fun during your school break. Riding, horse care, grooming, crafts, games, and fun are some of the activities.

    The cost for the Holiday Camp is as follows: $80 per day (9 am to 4 pm) $55 for half days (9 am to 12 pm). All week is $355.50!

    LEC will also be conducting their New Year’s Sleepover. This event will be held December 31 - January 1. This is their most popular event of the year! The camp is limited to 20 kids. (for more riding and fun time)

    Cost is $125 per person and includes everything.

    Schedule of events for the New Years Sleepover are as follows:
    6 pm - Arrival
    7 pm - Pizza
    8 pm - Game time, Dancing
    9-10:30 pm - Movie time, snacks
    10:30-12:30 - Riding Fun! Ride in the New Year!
    12:30 am - Craft time
    1:30 am - More Games!
    2:30 am - Birthday cards for all our LEC horses!
    3:30 am - Bake horse treats
    4:30 am - Dance-a-thon - Gangnam style
    5:30 am - And still more fun!
    6:30 am - Breakfast time - Everyone will help feed the horses their birthday breakfast.

    7:30 am - Doughnut and juice time, Board game fun!

    What you need to bring:
    -Jeans, riding pants (nothing fancy, plan on getting downright dirty!)
    -Pair of long underwear, jacket, riding gloves, winter gloves - warm winter layers which are easy to take off and on.
    -Riding boots
