It’s the beginning of September, and I can remember working as a children’s librarian at the Jeffersontown Branch (LFPL) during this month that libraries love and highlighting to elementary school classes that would visit us that they had to have a library card! September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month – yes there is a month dedicated to just that at libraries across the country. Getting a library card is so easy, and once you have one depending on where you live in the Kentuckiana area, you then hold the keys to a plethora of offerings. Check out this list of library literary events and exclusives with Louisville’s area libraries this coming week and all month long.
