The 30-second ad begins airing Tuesday on network and cable television, along with a longer version on radio. It will run at least through the end of the week. The ad begins with Heiner saying: 'For too long, we've accepted failing schools. Achieving true diversity doesn't come from kids leaving before breakfast and getting home after dinner.'" [Courier-Journal]
    • "In the Jeffersonville City Hall chambers, more than 70 people turned up heat on city council members and even more on paper. Everyone came to urge them to vote no to a bridge toll.
