“Become a Miss America” by making your first step by participating in the Miss/Teen Louisville & Jeffersontown Pageant next month which was established in 1921. This is an official Local Preliminary of the Miss Kentucky, Miss America & Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageants.
Last year, the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Organization made available over $37,000 in cash scholarships and more than three million dollars of in-kind scholarships to the 32 local title holders representing Kentucky. The Miss America Organization is the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women!
This is an excellent opportunity for a young lady to win a local title to advance to the Miss Kentucky or Miss Kentucky's Outstanding Teen Pageant where additional scholarships and prizes will be offered. Every participant in the Miss Kentucky pageant receives a scholarship. Miss Kentucky receives a $10,000 cash scholarship from the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Organization and many valuable awards.
To be eligible to compete for Miss Kentucky, a young woman must compete in and win a local competition. Potential Teen/Miss contestants should be of ages 13- 17 (Junior in HS), and 17 (Senior in HS) to 24, attending school, reside or work in Kentucky and be prepared to make a positive impact in the lives of people across the state of Kentucky.
There will also be a Little Miss & Pre-Teen pageant with the winners advancing to the Little Miss and Pre-Teen Miss Kentucky Pageant.
