Destruction and mayhem with really big wheels will descend on Louisville this weekend.  Taco Bell, S& S Powersports and 1-800 Ask Gary Presents Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Brought to you by Ford Trucks, October 22 & 23 @ 7:30pm in Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

I knew this day would come. The minute I gave birth to a son, I knew that I would find myself in the screaming masses at a Monster Jam. According to their press release, Monster Jam is the world’ s largest and most famous monster truck tour featuring the biggest names in monster trucks, including Gravedigger and more with two elements to every show: racing and freestyle.  I can't say I will be going begrudgingly. I had a plethora of Hotwheels as a child, including the infamous Gravedigger, and I am looking forward to sharing the excitement with my own little monster of destruction.

Tickets are required for the show, and dedicated fans can get a free pit pass at participating Advance Auto Parts locations to gain access to the pit on Saturday at 5 p.m. for pictures and autographs with the trucks and drivers. Pit passes will be available for $5 the day of the show.  Space is limited. It is suggested that you arrive early, because the passes to not gaurantee access.

Monster Jam tickets are on sale now, and may be purchased at the Freedom Hall Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at, or charge by phone at 800-745-3000. Ticket prices are just $8 for kids ages 2-12 and $20 for Adult seats. On

Saturday, October 23rd Total Access Pass tickets are available for $50 and include the best seats in the house and access to a Private Pit Party prior to the show. These tickets are for the Oct. 23rd performance only and are very limited.
