Called 'The Master' by Elton John, Leon Russell has collaborated with everyone from John himself to a few Beatles, to hundred mores.  To say that the man has been an musical influence over the past 40 years is a gross understatement.  At the height of his career he was one of the most sought out piano men in the business and he's gracing our presence tomorrow night.

While a stellar career through the 60s and 70s in particular, Russell created one of the most recognizable ballads ever with , 'A Song for You'.  Covered by hundreds more from Aretha Franklin to Willie Nelson, it's been a tune that's simply everlasting.  In the past few years his career has been revived by John when they collaborated on an album called aptly called The Union and it's simply remarkable.  Fancy the likes J. Roddy and The Business?  You owe a debt of gratitude to Russell as his early catalog can be heard through the likes of such an example, but a lot less hair swinging.  If you do nothing else all weekend, come out to Headliners Saturday!  Doors open at 7 and music starts at 8.  It could very easily change your life for the better.
