What happens when a script rewrite occurs?  A bad nightmare for actors and hilarity for everyone else.  Shelby County Community Theatre presents Play On! beginning tonight.

Play On! will play on April 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  Matinees, meanwhile, will go on April 15 and 22 at 2:30 p.m. each day.  All performances are to happen at Shelby County Community Theatre, located at 801 Main Street in Shelbyville, KY.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for students.  Due to limited seating, reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling 502-633-0242.  More information on the show can be found at the Shelby County Community Theatre website.

All kinds of random acts and acting could happen in Play On! A theatre company tries to put on a production, but the playwright keeps rewriting the script.  This means everyone is on their toes, trying to memorize lines and know stage moves, and its all to hilarious effect.

Rick Abbot created the Play On! script, and Iverson Warinner directed the production.

Following Play On!, Shelby County Community Theatre will present Til Beth Do Us Part.  The production is to happen in June.
