PNC Broadway in Louisville’s 2015-2016 season was announced today, and the lineup is set to bring some fan favorites to the Possibility City.

“The entire season line-up is amazing, with incredible music, great stories and plenty of eyecandy,” says Leslie Broecker, Broadway in Louisville president.

    The lineup is as follows:

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, a Tony Award winning production, will perform September 15-20, 2015.

Next up, Dirty Dancing tells the story made famous by Patrick Swayze in the 1987 movie of the same name. Now, the cast of this musical brings Baby and Johnny to life on stage with hit songs “Hungry Eyes,” and “(I’ve Had) The Time of my Life.” Performances run October 13-18, 2015.

Third in the lineup, Cabaret returns to Louisville March 8-13, 2016, as Sally Bowles, Emcee of the Kit Kat Klub takes the stage in pre-WWII Germany. Hallmark songs such as “Willkommen” will delight theatre goers in this Tony Award winning musical, presented by the Roundabout Theatre Company.

Motown the Musical headlines at the Kentucky Center from April 12-17, 2016, bringing with it the music of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and Smokey Robinson, to name a few.

The Phantom of the Opera returns to Louisville in the anchor position after an 8-year absence from the city. Phantom will run from June 1-12, 2016. This new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic is part of a new North American Tour that critics are calling “bigger and better than ever before.”

Two optional productions will also be presented. Tickets for these shows are not included in the five-show season pass and need to be purchased separately:

    Wicked                                                      November 18-December 6, 2015

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast                   January 19-24, 2016

Season tickets are available now in person at the box office, located at the Kentucky Center, online, or by calling the ticket center at 502-561-1003. Season packages range in price from $155-$584 depending on seat location.

Tickets for individual productions will go on sale four to six weeks prior to that production’s run.
