The Kentucky Science Center will be offering family science camps as a part of its School’s Out Science Camps program.

“Camp at the Science Center fosters a family atmosphere as we’ve watched many campers grow up in our programs,” said Joanna Haas, Executive Director of the Kentucky Science Center. “The benefits of out-of-school camps extend well into the regular school year and have tangible connections to Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.”

The Little Learners Family Camps, offered after the free PlayDates, provide families with an opportunity to engage with their Pre-K children in a creative environment. All workshops run from 10-11 a.m. Camps cost $10 for one nonmember child and one adult, plus $5 for each additional nonmember person, or $7 for one member child and one adult, plus $3 for each additional member person.
