The Addams family meets their daughter's new love, a respectable human being, at Clarksville Little Theatre this weekend.

The Addams Family will take place on Sept. 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee will happen on Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 315 E. Montgomery Ave. in Clarksville, IN. (Directions to get around I-65 construction are available here.)

Tickets for each show are $17 for adults, $14 for senior citizens 60 and over, $14 for teens, and $10 for children 12 and under. All tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved online at the Clarksville Little Theatre website.

The Addams Family is an unusual family with a nightmare for father Gomez Adams. His daughter, Wednesday, has fallen in love with a respectable, normal human whom the parents have never met. When Wednesday tells her father not to tell her mother about the feelings, it sets off a chain reaction of secrets and lies that run through the entire family. It also involves a dinner with the young suitor's family with unintended consequences.

    C. Kevin Swansey directed The Addams Family for Clarksville Little Theatre. Marshall Brickman, Rick Elice, and Andrew Lippa created the musical.

Following The Addams Family, Clarksville Little Theatre will present You Can't Take it With You. That production will take place in November, and auditions are this weekend.
