Get those toes tappin and the fingers snappin as Music Theatre Louisville presents Ain't Misbehavin', which opens on Friday.

Ain't Misbehavin' performances will go on June 24-26 and June 28-July 2 at 7 p.m. each night.  Matinee shows will take place at 1:30 p.m. on June 26 and July 2 each day.  All performances will happen in the Bomhard Theater at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for the 2 and 1/2 hour show are $27.50 per person.  They can be purchased by going to the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 1-800-775-7777.

Ain't Misbehavin follows the life and times of jazz great Thomas Fats Waller as he sings and swings his way through the various clubs and even Tin Pan Alley, the mecca of entertainment in the 1930s.  Waller composed many hits during this era, including the title song, and several of his songs will be performed during the show.

Plenty of other songs are aimed to get fingers snapping, feet tapping, or people out of their chairs, including the Jitterbug Waltz, Spreading Rhythm Around, and This Joint is Jumpin.

Following Ain't Misbehavin, Music Theatre Louisville will present the musical Guys and Dolls.  That show will open in July.  For more information on Music Theatre Louisville shows, check this article.
