This coming Tuesday, July 16th, the popular Louisville restaurant Varanese will host Around the World in Six Courses, a six course meal featuring dishes from Greece, Italy, Chile, Argentina, and more. If you aren't familiar with Varanese, my condolences.     Tossed in a Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette

    Brie Cheese and Country Ham Layered on a Toasted Baguette

    Garnished with Grilled Peach

     

    Third Course

    Tamari Malbec - Argentina

    Pulled Pork and Sausage on a Sugarcane Skewer with Chimichuri Sauce

    Served with Pickled Onions, Black Olives and Roasted Tomato Wedges

    Garnished with House-Made Chili-Lime Pork Rinds

     

    Fourth Course

    Lapostolle Casa Carmenere - Chile

    Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak

    Served with Chili Roasted Sweet Potato Hash topped with Caramelized Onions and Banana Peppers Finished with a Rich Tomato Demi

    Sliced Roasted Duck Breast, Duck Confit filled Dumplings and Duck Skin Crackling

    With Sunflower Sprouts, Nasturtium Flowers and Roasted Fennel
