vineyard vines will be a presence throughout Louisville and Churchill Downs leading up to and during Derby weekend. vineyard vines’ signature patchwork print will adorn the tractors that groom the tracks, a Dodge Ram Truck and a Denali. The brand will also partner with local hotels the Galt House and 21C. At the Galt House, guests will be provided with branded room key cards, gift bags and are invited to participate in a step and repeat photo activation. At 21C, guests will receive a tie and a scarf upon check in. Local bars Sully’s, Maker’s Lounge and Tin Roof will be whale-stocked with vineyard vines promotional items such as cups, coozies, straws, drink stirrers and cocktail napkins.

The 2014 vineyard vines for Kentucky Derby collection will be available at the Finish Line Gift Shop at the Kentucky Derby Museum, and an expanded collection will be available at the Churchill Downs Store. vineyard vines will also have two pop-up shops, at the Turf Club and Jockey Club Suites, on both Oaks Day and Derby Day.

vineyard vines will support the “Pink Out” on Oaks Day and Churchill Down’s charitable beneficiary by donating 30% of the proceeds from sales of vineyard vines’ Pink Lillies collection to Bright Pink. The Pink Lillies collection includes a necktie, bowtie, pocket square and tote that feature a Pink Lily design created exclusively as part of the vineyard vines for Kentucky Derby collection.
Derby Day: May 3rd, 2014
vineyard vines will host the third annual “Whalestock 2014,” featuring Nashville-based acoustic artists who will perform for infield attendees. In addition to the concert, attendees can stop by to pick up promotional products such as coozies and sunglasses and enjoy an animated photobooth where participants will receive a photostrip and be encouraged to share across social media using the hashtag #vvderby14.
