Women take control of a company from their close-minded boss in the musical comedy 9 to 5, which Clarksville Little Theatre will present starting tomorrow.

The musical 9 to 5 will take place on May 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee will go on May 10 at 2 p.m. All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery Ave. in Clarksville, IN.

Tickets for each show are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors, $14 for teens and $10 for children. All tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved by calling 812-283-6522.

In the musical comedy 9 to 5, three women have grown tired of dealing with their hypocritical, egotistical, sexist boss. After putting up with it for long enough, the women concoct a plan to take over the company. Their revenge plans lead to hilarious circumstances, thought-provoking moments and the realization that there's nothing these women couldn't do, regardless of the circumstance.

Dolly Parton created the music and lyrics for 9 to 5 while Patricia Resnick wrote the book. At Clarksville Little Theatre, Russell Spencer directed the musical, Kathy Todd Chaney provided choreography and Doug Jones served as musical director.

Following 9 to 5, Clarksville Little Theatre will present the children's show Dr. Doolittle Junior. That show will take place in July. More information on both shows can be found at the Clarksville Little Theatre website.
