If Congressman Yarmuth's proposed Constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizens United decision "panders" to anyone, it is to a stupendously vast, bipartisan, majority of the American public.
“The decision was written in such a way that the only way to correct it is with a constitutional amendment,” Yarmuth said. “You can’t legislate around it. Believe me, everybody has tried to find a way.”
Under the terms of the proposed amendment, candidates for federal office would be banned from accepting money from "corporations, PACS or individuals" for their campaigns.
