After a taking a year off, the Forecastle Festival returns to Louisville's Waterfront Park this weekend.
This Louisville secret is about to be let out of the bag.
Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells are set to land at Forecastle's Mast Stage on Friday, July 13, at 9:10 p.m. Whether or not the festival will survive their gigantic sound, earth-splitting guitar riffs, and boot-stomping electrobeats remains to be seen.
Forecastle newbies Beach House will be performing Friday, July 13, at 8:15 on the Boom Stage.

Louisville’s Forecastle Festival has come a long way. Ten years ago it was 100 people hanging out listening to some local music. This year, it was 30,000 people listening to over 100 bands. Here’s a roundup of the best and worst of this year’s Forecastle Festival.
